FAQS
We offer a 2-year limited warranty on all carbon fiber wheels purchased directly from us. Please refer to our warranty policy for specific details.
The warranty covers material defects or manufacturing defects that occur under normal use.
For example: delamination of the rim caused by factors other than external impact, or cracking of the valve cap hole due to abnormal tension.
To ensure a smooth process, please have the following ready:
1. Original proof of purchase (receipt, invoice, or screenshot of the order).
2. A photo of the product serial number (usually located near the valve stem or inside the rim).
Clear photos or videos of the damaged area (including close-ups and overall shots).
The following situations are not covered by the warranty:
1. Wear and tear resulting from normal use (such as brake pad wear, bearing wear, and surface scratches).
2. Damage caused by accidental collisions, crashes, or external impacts.
3. Improper installation, use of incompatible brake pads, or exceeding the maximum tire pressure limit.
4. Unauthorized modifications (such as replacing the original hub or repainting the product).
Absolutely. We understand the risks involved in cycling, which is why we offer the “Crash Replacement Program (CRP).” For wheelsets damaged in an accident that are no longer covered by the warranty, the original owner can purchase a replacement at a 30% discount off the official retail price.
The standard warranty and CRP program typically apply only to the original purchaser. However, you can contact us, and we will provide recommendations for paid repairs or discount options based on the extent of the damage.
If the warranty claim is confirmed to be due to a manufacturing defect, ferei typically covers the cost of shipping the item back to you. You are responsible for the cost of shipping the damaged part to our designated repair center. Specific policies may vary by region.
In most cases, you only need to send back the damaged wheel or rim. After you submit the form, our technical support team will let you know exactly which parts to send, to help you save on shipping costs.
1. Regularly check spoke tension and wheel set runout.
2. Use brake pads designed specifically for carbon fiber and keep the braking surface clean.
3. Strictly adhere to the maximum tire pressure limit indicated on the rim.
4. Avoid using a high-pressure water jet to directly rinse the hub bearings.
